We have spoke of this place before and due to the music and Jim’s love for it this required its own section.
If you research enough you will find this Hotel was sued a while back because they were promoting their attachment to the famous song. The Eagles obviously didn’t want them making money from it so they had to quit.
The question remains is this the real Hotel California that they sing about?
We don’t know the answer and on this trip alone we have seen at least two other hotels (along the Baja) with the same name. Likely because the state name includes “California.” I’ve also been to,d there is another one in California, USA.
No matter what the truth is, we love this little place. Great food and great place to go visit. Pick up a T Shirt if you are a fan!
