NEWS & UPDATE AUGUST 3, 2013

I must say we haven't done a very good job of updating this Blog and we must apologize!

Things are a changing!

As you may recall, I took on a contract back in 2012 working with a NASCAR Race Team doing their Marketing, Media Relations & Communications.

The Daytona Race in February - A Great Experience!

That is now finished and I have returned to retired life!
We do still have the Real Estate business but are blessed to have our good friend and top Realtor Arthur looking after all of that for us.
Now we have plans to hit the road again!

HISTORY SINCE LAST POST

Camped at Port San Luis Harbor, Avila Beach, California

In March we were camped on the California coast. We came home early on March 22, due to the fact we had a sick Grandson. Good News! He is now doing very well!

Our new home is much more settled now. We were able to finally get some things done after a rushed move last September and leaving 3 weeks later for the winter. We love watching our lawn being cut by someone else!

We leave in about 4 weeks!
This will be another one of those "Bucket List Dream Trips" that we love so much.

Our Bounder Motorhome has all the comforts of home!

We will start by heading east!
Leaving Calgary about September 1st., we will travel in the Motorhome to eastern Canada and see as much as we can in our home country. We will likely travel along in the northern USA to save on gas expenses and come back into Canada in Ontario and then continue on eastward.

We tow our Honda CRV behind the Motorhome.

Once we finish seeing what we can in eastern Canada we will travel down the eastern sea-board of the USA during the fall enjoying the fall colours of New England etc.

We will continue south all the way to the Keys in Florida. Prior to that though, we will stop and store the Motorhome somewhere and fly home for a wedding on October 12th. A few days later we will fly back to down to the Motorhome and continue south to alligator and swamp country!

After we do the Keys in Florida we will come back north along the Gulf of Mexico and follow that around the top until we are heading west again. We will continue west until we get back to Arizona.

You can't beat the weather and sunsets in Arizona!

We have no idea how long we will take heading east, south or west!
This will be one of those journeys that we will play by ear, much like we did in Europe during the winter of early 2010.

We like the adventure!
Knowing that if we find a place we really enjoy we will stay for a while. If we don't like something then we will move on. So we really have no calendar or schedule and we love it that way!

So we hope that you will follow us on this new adventure! Once we get rolling in early September we hope to do a better job of keeping this Blog up to date.
